My son has global developmental delay and was having issues with noise in school, absolutely delighted to have found these. They have completely turned it around from him and he's calmer and no longer having out bursts. His school has said they are definitely helping him and he's a boy since we started to use them.
When my daughter started going to school, she found the large number of kids in a confined space (and all the noise that goes with them) to be at times unbearable. Of course, she wasn't allowed to leave at noisy times and got told off for putting her hands over her ears 🙄
Some other kids had eardefenders, but she didn't want to be different and carry them around all the time.
These have been a godsend. They make all the noise bearable, but she can still hear her teachers and friends. She's 7 and can put them in herself.
However, she pretty much loses one a week, so it's getting a bit expensive 🤔
But they've certainly worked for her, and after going to a few hectic xmas markets and getting stressed, I've ordered some for myself too 😊
These earplugs are a game changer for my neurodivergent 8 year old (ADHD-inattentive type with super high distractibility, auditory processing issues, slow processing speed). She says they're "AMAZING." She wears them every day at lunch in the cafeteria, which allows her to actually enjoy talking to her friends rather than just being miserable, in pain, and overwhelmed by the noise. She also wears them in the classroom whenever "I need to focus but the other kids are being loud." We laugh at how much we both love and identify with Jarrod's video: "my brain....WORKS."
