Exactly what I needed

A friend recommended these to me when she saw how I struggled in a noisy room. I ordered them straight away - and what a difference! They really take the edge off the clattery sounds in coffee shops that have wooden floors and nothing to absorb the sounds. I also find they are brilliant for traffic sounds when I walk next to a busy street. Wouldn't be without them now, and am telling everyone I know how good they are.

Not what you excpect; it's good though

Do not purchase these if you are looking for earplugs. They do not cancel noise but rather smooth it while reaching your ear. You have to wear them for a while (maybe +1 hour) to notice the difference but after that, everything sounds softer. So much softer. You still hear all noises quite clearly and normally but you don't get annoyed by them any more. I am able to work long hours in crowded places (public libraries, offices etc) without losing concentration or grip on reality. If you are not sensitive to sounds and noises, you will not notice a difference. If you are easily affected by background noises though, these are for you. VfM.

  • CALMER TECHNOLOGY

    Calmer reduces resonance (distortion) by using a tiny waveguide inside our ears that removes the effect of the Concha. The Concha is the small shell shape that connects to our ear canal which normally resonates mid frequency sounds.

    By removing this resonance, Calmer dampens the most common alert-triggering noises such as phone alerts, dogs barking, tube trains, slamming doors and sudden loud vocal noises. Also, mid frequency sounds have none of their normal painful aspects.
