Inside Track is a year-long, fully funded music mentoring and development programme set up by Ivor Novello award-winning artist, Cassell the Beatmaker.
The programme, under the umbrella of his company In the Making (ITM), takes a handful of up-and-coming artists each year, supporting emerging talent who might not be able to normally access facilities, advice and studio time to discover their musical sound and style, and gives them the opportunity to work with other successful musicians and writers. It’s a unique launchpad for a career in music.
The artists get to complete two tracks which are mixed and mastered ready for release. Inside Track also gives help with aligning their social media handles and access to workshops with music lawyers, publishers, branding experts, PPL and The Ivors Academy, videographers, photographers and stylists, to give them a better insight into the roles these professionals play. Towards the end of the programme the ITM talent get to showcase their new songs at a live event in front of representatives from the music industry.
This year’s the chosen four are performed on June 29
th at 229 Great Portland Street, London. Check out their live recordings
