I love them, both for speakers and headphones... But, they're flawed simply because of being made of plastic. The plastic resonates, and, makes a lot bass heavy music sound plastic'y/unpleasant. Otherwise, the mirror image sound does what it's advertised to do... I wish there were versions of this made from injection molded, or other materials that don't shake and create their own sound... Bummer.

Don’t hear a difference

It doesn’t really work. I have expensive earphones and was intrigued by the social media adverts for the product, specifically Fabio and Grooverider. I played around with the inserts for a few days and found they muffled the music. I did find the bottom end improved slightly but this improvement did not compensate the muffled sound. On some tracks I did feel as I could hear some more detail but the muffled sound in comparison to the sound without the inserts was too distracting. I’m glad I tried them, but they were not as revelatory as I expected.

I have now had the immerse in listening to my home stereo for a few weeks and it has worked out well. The soundstage is taller and wider to me. A nice upgrade from any source. Give them a try.

After having a great experience with the headphone version I decided to get the stereo.
What a difference they make! Sat comfortably in my usual position I instantly noticed the extra clarity and separation of the instruments. (Give them time for your ears to adjust if it's your first pair, I think my ears had already adjusted from using the headphone version so knew what I was expecting) Vocals now clearly standing out and much more detailed. Definitely hearing details that I don't usually hear if I'm not fully concentrating standing out more.
As mentioned above the one thing I will say is, give them plenty of time for your ears to adjust. The same as with the headphone version, I think we are so used to how our system/headphones sound that you might think you're actually loosing something when listening for the very first time. But give them a few hours and it's then when you take them out you realise how harsh the music can sound without them.

I am a professional sound engineer with over 30 years of experience mixing music in studio and live sound environments.
I bought the Immerse-Stereo prototype with the intention of trying it in both scenarios to see what it could do to improve my listening experience.
I have found that making live sound with the Immerse prototype is complicated because the sound also transmits through the plastic surface making a kind of hollow sound.
This situation is even worse inside a big arena with a noisy crowd, the murmur and singing of the crowd around you get inside the Immerse system through the plastic surface generating a very confusing and annoying wobbling sound.
In the studio is different, the sound gets less harsh and bright, but it could confuse the hearing perception, and you have to get used to it.

Not one of the great products flare has, this works ok , based on what you are listening and sometimes it dampens the audio and does not work fully as expected. Informed flare team about this, they were happy for me to refund for returned product

I used the Immerse plugs in 2 different gigs, Jazz and a live performance of Pink Floyd music.
In both cases I couldn't belive my ears.
The difference with and without was massive.
Frequencies were less distorted and sound was significantly clearer.
The model for ear on headphones was effective, too but not as much as the other model.

They don’t work, just make it dull and muffled. Was hoping for something much more interesting and effective.

I saw these on Insta with Fabio and groove rider and thought I’d give them a go …. Well I have to say they are a real revelation for the ear …. They somehow single out each instrument? Which to me is phenomenal!? ….. I’m really impressed and the company are extremely supportive helpful and empathetic to any problem which may arise …. ….. do yourself a favour and treat your ears xx one love Dr WHU x

Sent them back, incredibly uncomfortable and poor sound performance.

At first I thought the bass extension was amazing. Then after a few times of use i noticed that the high frequencies were muted and muffled. Everything sounded like it was being played in a shed ! I have i high end set of headphones with a high end dac attached . Apparently they are no good for this standard of equipment. Verdict ok if you have a set of cheap headphones but not serious audio .

First, the buying process: easy and fast delivery.
Second, the presentation: nice packaging with the expected quality.
And the sound: clear, enough bass, all instruments heard. The Bluetooth was a (good) surprise.

These don’t stay in the ear well, and they make the audio sound worse. I am a little surprised if people find them to work well. Perhaps people with poor hearing to begin with, but if you enjoy good quality headphones these will just make them sound worse.

I teach, A Level Music Technology, I bought the loudspeaker version purely out of curiosity and not knowing what to expect. What you get is a device that removes the top and bottom of the frequency spectrum, whilst boosting the area around 1k, I don’t really understand why you would want this, but it is certainly not useful for critical listening. Maybe if you have cocktail ear, it might help at parties…. Otherwise you should probably mix with the best speakers you can afford and the mk1 human ear, everyone will be using that to listen to the final product anyway….

Sound quality from my headphones was noticeably worse after inserting these - I tried all three sizes of the rubber adapters, but made no difference.
Just seemed to cut out a lot of frequencies and make the sound generally muddier.

For context I have been producing and mixing music on my own for well over 10 years now. I would say I have good ears. I really wanted to believe the hype, and I really thought the concept of having less internal sound reflections inside the ear made sense, so I tried them, especially since they were on sale. I made sure to see the guide on how to fit them into my ears properly, and I tested every ear tip. But unfortunately in every instance, the audio simply sounded worse, whether it was listening to music I've mixed that I know very well or other people's music, nothing about the sound was audibly better. There was no improvement to the soundstage, there was no added clarity, my brain did not perceive higher detail, instead it just sounded like there was an odd EQ filter applied to the entire mix that ruined my mixes and made other music sound like I was listening to it through a pair of cheap earbuds. I'm returning these.

Honestly, I can’t hear any difference.

The advert with Fabio and grooverider got my attention. The price was good, but the product….. a few little bits of plastic for tenner.

They didn't work for me, i have played about with them for over an hour, chances are if your system sounds good these won't improve anything, the sound was muffled and i lost all the bass.

The only effect I found with listening to my stereo.. Is that it blocks my ear channels..I immediately need to take them out..

They really do make the sound a lot clearer the gun shots and explosions in my game are really crisp, so im happy 😊

It does absolutely nothing. I could not identify a single advantage when listening to music from my high-end audio system.
