Magic Tips feature Sonic Balance Technology that improves the sound quality of regular earphones by balancing the earphones output. Compatible with any earphone with a T200 connection.

Magic Tips can be used by anyone who wants to improve the sound quality of their existing earphones in the most cost-effective and simple way.

The magic comes from the special core used inside Magic Tips. This core features our patent-pending Sonic Balance Technology that balances the earphones sound energy using a precise restriction inside the tips. This helps stabilise the resonances that traditional earphones create which in turn improvessound quality.

The technology uses a precise tuning point that balances sound energy as it passes through the tip and enters the ear.

Following two decades of research in sound and hearing, we developed Sonic Balance Technology using a unique particle approach to sound design. By understanding how each particle vibrates it allowed us to understand, at a fundamental level, how to control sound energy.

Every Magic Tip is manufactured and assembled at Flare HQ in Lancing, England by Flare engineers.

Not good for meze advar.

I had a little hope that I could improve mine (on the Go inears), but I don't quite understand the improvement here🤔 I prefer the original final tips or comply foam tips, these flare tips make the sound worse in my opinion, the bass becomes smaller and the treble higher, the good midrange that the Meze Advar has disappears with these tips, and you are left with a set of inears that sound cheap.

It seems there is a genuine 'uplift' in sound

It seems there is a genuine noticeable 'uplift' in sound response and quality when listening to both music and speech.

Bass is more rounded and overall balance seems improved.

Im glad I bought them.

Try different size tips

The importance of making sure you try different size tips. I'm usually a medium, but on a particular set of iem's I wasn't getting a very good fit so tried out the large and found these fit perfectly. With the magic tips bringing even more detail to a set of iem's that already shine. Great product.

Excellent

The earbuds I have were already good but these take the sound quality to the next level. These make the sound balanced and clear. They took seconds to fit and are comfortable in the ears.

cave sound

The truth is that the first time I put on the flares, I noticed the sound was different, like I was in a cave.

Might stop you from using your recharge case.

To be honest, I found absolutely no improvement when I tried them on my Samsung Buds but they stopped me being able to put the buds in their recharging case. Sa.e with my Boltune buds ie no noticeable improvement but stopped me from using the recharge case.

I did not believe, until I tried them

What could a pair of tips make, honestly?
That's what I asked myself. Put these in my birthday wish list and forgot about them.
Well, I got them. And they definitely DO make a difference!
I use them with Sony WF-1000XM4s, and after the stock foam ones, these are incredibly different!
Here's the main things that changed:
with the foam tips, the sound had more lower boom and less definition in the highs. In general, the sound was more muffled and boomy
With these, the sound is much more clearer, I can hear the track's room and reverb better and faint background sounds more clearly, and the highs are actually defined and not muffled. The overall balance of the sound noticeably shifted higher, and bass is no longer BASS, which I prefer.

Works well with Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds. No issues fitting them or using them in the charging case.

Sound changes, better or not - only you can judge. Get the right size.

My fault, I bought the wrong size. Bought M, but need L to have them secure in my ears. As far as the clarity of sound improvement goes, I could tell that they levelled frequencies out a little - ie the bass became less booming, but I can't say for sure if it was better or not. My 61 year old ears. after many many live gigs aren't the best judges!

Fits great in my ears and blocks noise

Fits great in my ears and blocks noise from outside. Maybe not night and day difference in soundquality and might be placebo, but think it might sound a small % better than what I used before

Flare Audio Magic Tips: High Price, Moderate Performance

Having been persistently targeted by online advertisements, I eventually decided to take the plunge and order the Flare Audio Magic Tips. Each pair set me back a rather steep £19.95, which converts to roughly US$27, and to add insult to injury, tracked shipping all the way to my address in Singapore incurred an additional £10. This made the overall outlay for a pair of silicone eartips quite a hefty sum, but my curiosity ultimately got the better of me.

Two weeks later, the much-anticipated package finally arrived in my letterbox. My initial excitement quickly waned upon discovering the eartips nestled within a small, rather flimsy plastic box. The packaging felt decidedly basic, a far cry from what one might expect for the price point, and the eartips themselves exhibited a somewhat poor and rough finish around the edges. Flare Audio champions these tips, claiming they incorporate an "Acoustic Correction Lens," crafted from 3D-printed resin, designed to recalibrate an earphone's output, thereby eliminating high-frequency resonances and purportedly enhancing both audio detail and realism.

When it came to the crucial listening test, the eartips delivered a reasonably good experience, though not without their flaws. The bass response was certainly punchy and extended well, providing a decent foundation to the sound. However, a noticeable mid-bass bloat unfortunately coloured the midrange, lending it a warm and somewhat full-bodied character, but also subtly obscuring finer details. Vocals, regrettably, sounded a touch recessed, as if positioned slightly further back in the soundstage. Treble extension proved to be rather moderate, somewhat lacking the desired sense of airiness in the upper registers. The soundstage itself presented as rather narrow and somewhat confined. The sole redeeming feature I could discern was the sharply focused and notably solid stereo imaging, which did offer a degree of precision. Given the rather exorbitant cost and the somewhat underwhelming sonic improvements, I would struggle to recommend them.

Great, definitely worth trying (perceived results will vary on your own hearing and preferences).

These attach to my earphones easily and feel firmly attached (specifically the AKG wired 3.5mm jack & usb-c earphones that were supplied with the high-end Samsung 'S' series phones when they actually provided them within the package, as they fit nicely to these earphones, but I also tried them out on a pair of "cheap \ <£10" wired in-earphones\buds from Asda).
In terms of performance (personal opinions only), I find that they do improve the audio but it is hard to define exactly what is improved, even when you know that it definitely has. I feel that they have some effect over a long term listening session (e.g. background music while working on my laptop for an extended period of time) but it is hard to actually define what the difference actually is.
They seemed to improve the 'cheaper' earphones more than the AKG one's, but that is probably more due to the 'roughness' of the audio produced by the cheaper ones (bearing in mind that this comparison is based on testing with 'full range' music and I only use those earphones for audiobooks to go to sleep with, and they do 'smooth' the audio output from the audiobooks too, just less noticeable).
So, in summary, definitely worth trying as they will make a difference. It will just depend on your personal hearing as to how much, and what type of a difference, it makes for you.

Ive been a Flare user for many years now, inam

Ive been a Flare user for many years now, i am currently on Flare Studio earphones. An absolute bargin of a headphone.... but I tried magic tips today, I can't get my head around the sound of the magic tips. Clear like its been put in a larger sound stage, with cleaner highs. Its something you have to try to experience. Definitely staying on .🙂
I wonder if a foam version is on the cards ?.... i run this off Spotify lossless via ifi dongle dac go link.
Ive £6k system and this does a very good job . While at work this will be the next best thing. I need a while to absorb this difference with the Magic tips completely throws you with details...
Been watching and buying Flare since the first kickstarter. I haven't been let down let. A worthy addition to the hard won British audio industry giving Hi quality audio at normal person prices. Good luck for the future as always to D + N and the team.
Cheers for another great product.

These were a tremendous waste of money

These were a tremendous waste of money. They don’t fit my shure aonic4 headphones, they fall right out of my ears and since they do t make a good seal they sound horrible

I tried 3 different pairs of earbuds with these

I tried 3 different pairs of earbuds, these would not work with any of them. They would fit on but once you attempted to listen to them I’d get a severe high pitched sound in one of them. Also for at least 2 pairs of Skullcandy ear buds, if you put these on them, you could NOT charge your buds in their case.
