What makes Magic Tips so special?

The magic comes from the special core used inside Magic Tips. This core features our patent-pending Sonic Balance Technology that balances the earphones sound energy using a precise restriction inside the tips. This helps stabilise the resonances that traditional earphones suffer from which in turn improves the sound quality.

How does Sound Balancing Technology work?

The technology uses a precise tuning point that balances sound energy as it passes through the tip and enters the ear.

Why has this not been done before?

Following 2 decades of research in sound and hearing, we developed Sonic Balance Technology using a unique particle approach to sound design. By understanding how each particle vibrates it allowed us to understand, at a fundamental level, how to control sound energy.

Every Magic Tip is manufactured and assembled at Flare HQ in Lancing, England by Flare engineers.

Sculpted using state-of-the-art 3D printing, Magic Tips® is manufactured at Flare HQ using advanced 3D printed technology to 1000th of a millimetre tolerance. Once the printing process is complete, the parts are fully inspected to ensure that it’s accurately tuned and produces perfect sound quality.

Technical Specification

Magic Tips® includes a high-precision tip insert that re-calibrates an earphone output and removes high-frequency resonances to improve detail and audio realism.
This patent-pending technology is manufactured by Flare in the UK using advanced 3D printing technology to within 1000th of a millimetre. This ensures perfect calibration is consistently achieved.
3D printed, bio-compatible resin with cutting-edge laser printer technology for precision accuracy.

Our Story

The very first Flare products came to life at our first Flare HQ – a garage in our founders garden. As a small team of three we designed and built our first loudspeakers and provided PA for gigs and festivals.

It wasn’t long before we ran out of space...
