E-Prototype is for anyone who wants to experience higher levels of sound quality and reveal more detail in music without the additional distortions all other earphones produce.

Music is created by thousands of sound resonances. Every voice, instrument and nuance in music has been formed by soundwaves reflecting and resonating inside different spaces. This is what makes music so captivating, enjoyable and identifiable. Earphones are also designed to resonate to create their own unique sound signature, but this damages the original source material, distorting detail. We believe music should be experienced exactly as the artist intended.

Mirror Image Sound Technology features 2 angled, flat surfaces that reflect soundwaves with complete accuracy. This enables the earphones driver to be positioned in the perfect place so that sound information enters the ears without any additional resonances from the earphones enclosure.

Following 2 decades of research in sound and hearing, we developed Mirror Image Sound Technology using a unique particle approach to sound design. By understanding how each particle vibrates inside an earphone enclosure it allowed us to understand, at a fundamental level, how to remove earphone resonances.

Every E-Prototype earphone is 3D printed, hand finished, assembled and tested at Flare HQ in Lancing, England by Flare engineers.
