Incredibly disappointing

These have the loudest cable noise of any wires headset I've used, and I'm Gen x so it's not like wired is novel for me. I had to get an adapter for it to work with my phone, which wasn't a huge deal but I could have tried them sooner if I had known I needed one. The biggest issue is I can't use these for call at all with any of my devices. The sound quality is so bad on the receiving end that that I haven't completed a cell or VoIP call with them. It's incredibly frustrating.
