I bought these as I live very close to an A-road. The ceaseless traffic noise can, at times, make me feel physically unwell. I also walk a lot around the local area and wanted something that could help me hear the birdsong clearer whilst rendering the traffic noise less overwhelming. These work to that end, so I am pleased. The memory foam tips took a little bit of trial and error but I find the small size to be a good fit.

Worth a try if you’re looking to find a way of focusing!

I’m autistic with sensory and auditory processing differences, and I am a daily user of Calmer soft. I also use other brand earbuds for different environments to reduce sound.

At the time of purchase I could only find one review for these Calmer Performance earbuds, so I decided to just try them, although the cost seemed quite expensive. Here are my thoughts after wearing them for two days:

Pros

Comfortable and feel very lightweight.
Effective sound shifts (better than Calmer).
They stay in (unlike calmer which I find continually get loose and fall out throughout the day).
The box and bag they come in feels premium quality.
You can wear them any way round so are easier to put in than Calmer.

Cons

A fraction too long for me and protrude from my ears slightly (tricky when wearing a beanie hat which touches the edges and makes a rustling sound).
The smallest size only just fits for me, possibly a smaller size would benefit others.
Not discreet at all when wearing due to the colour and material.
Noisy if they get pressed or knocked accidentally.

Overall I think they are great and I prefer these over the Calmer model - they are more effective and don’t fall out - I think they are worth the money for everyday use. If you like Calmer then these are definitely worth a try!

These do make a difference to those high pitch noises but they are expensive for what they are
