I love my regular Calmers. They help filter out tiresome sounds, while not turning down the volume. I don't know how it works and I don't really hear it working when I put them in, but I certainly do when I take them out after a while. They help me be less tired in noisier environments.
The best thing about my regular Calmers: They don't hurt. They are soft, flexible and hollow, so they move with my ears. They are the only type of earplugs so far that don't hurt. And I've tried a lot. A LOT.
So, seeing as the Calmer Pros are not flexible, I ordered the mini size, instead of the normal size. Good choice.
They work, however, they work like the regular Calmers. And even this mini size eventually starts to hurt a little. Because they are not flexible, just like every other earplug, except for the regular Calmers. They don't hurt much and it takes a while, but there it is.
If your ears aren't big babies like mine, these will probably work well for you. However, personally, I just don't notice much of a difference compared to the regular Calmers, which are cheaper. If your ears ARE big babies like mine, just stick to the regular, flexible Calmers. You're not missing much.
