World Hearing Day

World Hearing Day is held on 3 March each year to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world.

This year the theme is ‘Check your hearing’, to draw attention to the importance of early identification and intervention for hearing loss. Many people live with unidentified hearing loss, often failing to realise that they are missing out on certain sounds and words. By checking your hearing, you’re taking the first step towards tackling this important issue.

Flare Audio is supporting this important campaign by teaming up with selected partners to give away several sets of our renowned Isolate® PRO titanium ear protectors, that enable users to ‘turn down the volume’ and protect their hearing in loud environments.

Those of us who are fortunate to be able to hear, know how special this sense is,” says Flare founder, Davies Roberts. “Hearing is one of the ways that we can communicate and connect with people, it’s one of the ways that we can feel an emotional response to music, nature and the world.  Think for a moment how it would feel to damage your hearing, or to completely lose it. Imagine how different your world would be if you could not hear a thing... that would be a very strange world to live in, it might feel frightening and lonely.  Next time you are about to expose your ears to loud sounds think about that again and protect them.”
