Patented technology
Make your music sound more immersive. Wear under headphones or in open listening environments to take your sound experience to a whole new level. Immerse has been superseded by our latest listening device, Definition®.
Immerse is the only ear technology that makes ALL music significantly more immersive and drastically higher quality, no matter what equipment you are using.
Immerse Headphone is worn under headphones whereas Immerse Stereo can be used in any open sound environment such as live events, studio, cinema, theatre and Hi-Fi etc...
Immerse is for everyone as it creates a universal listening experience that unifies artists, producers, engineers and fans so that everyone hears precisely what the artist intended. We believe that amazing sound quality should be inclusive, not limited to those who can afford expensive equipment.
Immerse removes distortions that occur naturally inside our ears by changing the internal geometry of our ear canals. There are no electronics, instead the patented technology uses high-precision acoustic reflectors that ensure sound waves do not distort as they enter our ears.
We estimate that our ears distort sound by an astonishing 20% because of their shell-like shape. Our brain tries to filter this distortion which results in a loss of detail between 2kHz - 8kHz.
Immerse accurately reflects sound inside our ears which removes this distortion. This reveals more detail as our brain no longer needs to mask these frequencies.
We’ve been working with sound for 17 years; we started by designing loudspeakers used at concerts and in cinemas and then moved onto in-ear devices in 2015.
Through our experience we've learnt how to approach sound differently - using a unique particle approach. By dealing with sound at source (our ears), it has enabled us to identify this previously hidden issue.
Immerse removes subjectivity in sound, creating a universal audio experience and unifying the ears of everyone who uses them. For the first time we can all hear the same thing. This breakthrough could have a profound effect on the recording and live music industries.
Combo pack includes both models of Immerse, plus reusable tips and a pouch per model.
Listen and become immersed in every single layer of your audio. Immerse enables complete separation of sound, allowing you to pin-point exactly the sounds you want to focus on.

Flare Immerse won’t get the recognition they truly deserve. They’re especially valuable for anyone mixing or mastering with headphones—particularly when it comes to exposing how much distortion headphones introduce. Many users might feel like they’re “losing” certain frequencies, but in truth, Immerse removes the distortion that’s usually present. This clarity may be due to their unique acoustic design—possibly the arch within the listening chamber—which allows for an impressively clean and honest sound.
Paired with flat-response headphones like those from Focal or Sennheiser, Immerse helps present your mix as it truly is. The best approach is to find what sounds right to you first—then switch to Immerse to hear it stripped of artificial enhancements. The result is almost always a more refined and better-balanced final mix.
The only drawback is ear fatigue—primarily due to the eartip comfort. Personally, I find anything beyond two hours can become a bit much.
Disappointed.
The claims made by the manufacturer is not really true.
"Trebles" and 'highs" are now lost when using this products. I had high expectations about this but as an audio enthusiast I can't say it improves anything whatsoever,
I opted for the headphone style, have been living with them for a couple weeks and am fairly impressed. They have a significant impact on dynamics, imaging, separation, add depth and width to the soundstage and though they're said to primarily affect the 2k-8k range I find they add definition, speed and even slam to bass as well. Perhaps the latter is due to the signal no longer being smeared by the distortion of one's ear canal.
Immerse tends to do particularly well with unpacking recordings which are densely packed with sonic information such as symphonic music, Sun Ra, Van Dyke Parks' Song Cycle or Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica. I listen to a vast amount of different styles from all over the world, including almost all genres and they've enhanced every recording I've checked out thus far. For instance, I have never before heard the Marimba Eroica on Harry Partch's Delusion of the Fury with so much clarity and impact. This is an instrument whose lowest pitch is around 27hz. The strings on the 1957 three channel Living Stereo Chicago Symphony recording of Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste, already known for its visceral quality, sound virtually etched in granite with Immerse. It allows me to hear Skip James' intricate picking cutting through the surface noise of the distressed sources of Special Rider Blues, and I'm So Glad from his legendary 1931 sessions.
I've listened to everything from '60s pop to Balinese Bamboo Gamelan (Jegog), Nick Drake, Tim Buckley, The Beatles, Tom Waits to Morton Subotnick's Buchla synth masterpieces and found Immerse to offer new perspectives to each of them. I'm sure these won't work for everyone, but if you're an enthusiast of some subset of organized sound production they're worth checking out.

Immerse is the world’s first ear technology that makes ALL music significantly more immersive with drastically greater detail - no matter what equipment you are using - simply by removing the effects created by HRTF in our ears.
Immerse removes distortions that occur naturally inside our ears by changing the internal geometry of our ear canals. There are no electronics inside, instead, the patented technology uses high-precision acoustic reflectors that ensure sound waves don’t distort as they enter our ears. Using Flare’s high-precision, Mirror Image Sound™ technology, the result is the most detailed and immersive sound you can imagine, from any source.
Yes, Immerse® works with any headphones or speakers, no matter how much they cost.
This is because the issue lies not with the equipment but with our ears. Their shell-like shape distorts sound by up to 20%, causing our brain to filter this distortion and resulting in a loss of detail between 2kHz and 8kHz.
Immerse removes this distortion by accurately reflecting sound inside our ears, revealing more detail as our brain no longer needs to compensate for these frequencies.
Immerse enhances sound detail and is great for use at gigs, but it is not a substitute for proper hearing protection. User discretion is advised in loud settings, and we strongly recommend using dedicated ear protection, such as our Earshade ear protectors, to safeguard your hearing.
Immerse uses high-precision acoustic reflectors to change the internal geometry of your ear canal, preventing sound waves from distorting as they enter your ears.
