For producers and audio engineers

Flare Studio is more than just a listening device - it’s a precision tool. Designed to deliver pure, uncoloured sound with zero audible distortion across all frequencies, it gives you an honest reference point for mixing, mastering, and detailed critical listening.

With Flare’s Mirror Image Sound technology, you can identify subtle nuances, phase issues, and sonic imperfections that conventional monitors or headphones might mask. Whether you’re in the studio or working remotely, Flare Studio provides the kind of sonic transparency and accuracy that empowers better creative decisions and sharper production results. It’s like having a microscope for your music.

Why Flare Studio Will Change How You Hear Music

“The human ear naturally creates resonance, possibly a survival trait from ancient times. But in music, that resonance pollutes sound and has a detrimental effect on the sound we hear. We’ve solved that problem by addressing how sound enters the ear, resulting in breathtaking audio. Now, the journey from bold concept to revolutionary reality is complete, and the result is truly game-changing.”

Studio vs E-Prototype

Long-time e-prototype user here. I'm using them primarily for music production and, most importantly, with my in-ear monitor on stage. I have just received the Studio, and I was a bit confused with the pricing since I have paid way more for the e-prototype, while the technology looks the same. The Studio looks way more like a finished product compared to the e-prototype. Sound-wise, the Studio sounds a bit more analogue, while the e-prototype sounds more aggressive and bright. It's akin to the distinction between a Class D bass amp and one with a tube preamp and a transistor power stage. I need to try using them both as a mixing earphone to figure out which one is more "natural". Maybe Flare people can explain the sound(and price) difference. Long story short, they both sound awesome!

Just amazing sound!

I received my new Flare Studio in ear's today and they are just fabulous.
The sound is balanced and full. I can hear the music properly. It's so refreshing after trying and failing to find wireless earbuds that actually work properly. Go wired and go Flare is my advice! Their helpline is also actually helpful. A great British product too.

Our Story

The very first Flare products came to life at our first Flare HQ – a garage in our founders garden. As a small team of three we designed and built our first loudspeakers and provided PA for gigs and festivals.

It wasn’t long before we ran out of space...
