Calmer® Filters
Use Calmer® Filters in your existing Calmer® and adjust your sound to how you feel. Two simple filters provide Light (-10 dB) and Medium (-15 dB) attenuation for stress-free sound at a slightly lower volume.
Calmer Filters are compatible with Standard and Mini size Calmer and Calmer Kids.
We’ve kept it simple with two interchangeable filters so you can adjust to how you feel, not just how loud it is.
• Light (-10dB Attenuation)
Takes an extra edge off everyday sounds. Perfect for mild sensitivity or settings like cafés, commutes, or casual conversation.
• Medium (-15dB Attenuation)

Calmer are designed to reduce our stress response to noises that annoy us without isolating us from sound. They are gentle but very effective. If you need help deciding which Calmer would best suit you, check out our help guide here.

We understand how much tinnitus affects people, so we want to be very clear about what Calmer is designed to do.
Calmer was not designed to help with tinnitus.
Calmer purpose is to reduce distortion in the ears. In turn, this increases sound quality and lowers stress levels.
It came as a huge surprise to us that we started to receive feedback that our original Calmer was helping some users with their tinnitus.
Tinnitus is different for everyone, and we do not suggest buying Calmer solely for this purpose.
If you feel like Calmer is not meeting your needs, we have a 100-day money-back guarantee but we would hope that Calmer stress-reducing properties and sound quality improvement would be of benefit.
Hi!
I received my filters and… man oh man!
Calmer were already hands down the best from the start, but with these filters..! {chefs kiss}
I am AuDHD with massive hyperacusis and auditory processing disorder and I have tried out a fair bunch of those competitors (loop, hears, happy ears,..) and ha! You guys can sleep on both your ears (I hope this French saying translates ok)!
I feel that thanks to your products I can finally imagine venturing outside of my den without damage. Finally less loud almost WITHOUT inner noises being increased! :3
My gratitude is immense. Thank you!
I hope you get a Nobel - in any case, well done on the Kings award! It is very much deserved!
Thank you for making the world a liveable place for us bats :)
Thank you Flare Audio for responding to our requests. Have been waiting for these filters to come out since I don't want to get Calmer Extra when I already have three pairs of original Calmers with me.
Personally, I use the -10dB pair more often, because the -15dB pair causes more occlusion that I would want. So I wouldn't wear them when I need to eat or talk. But it's perfect in situations where I can just use sign language but still need to be able to listen to the surroundings.
I have two sets of the combo standard and mini due to I lose ear items alot - but I find them easy to use -The spare set I have given to a friend that is only just getting use to them - the insert pieces are ok but still getting use to them - but hopefully they work just has good has the first ones just light and for general use.
