The first sleep with calmer night I woke from the deepest sleep I've had in years. I'm a 30 year old man and it felt like one of the best sleeps of my adult life. I'd interested to see a study done on the effects of this product on REM sleep because anecdotally it felt so much deeper that average. I've also found this product to be beneficial day-to-day around the kids and whilst concentrating on daily task. Easy yes from me
I find the Calmer Nights to be very comfortable for daily, daytime wear. I have to wear custom-made silicone earplugs for sleep but have occasionally fallen asleep with the Nights in, and they stayed in my ear and I did not feel them.
One thing to note; while I seem to have regular-sized ear canals, they twist in such a way that causes the Calmers of any size/softness to fall out if I'm eating, talking, or otherwise moving my jaw a lot.
If you think you have similar ears, you may want to get the lanyards to make sure you don't lose your Calmers.
So useful. I use the regular variant al well, but I use the night ones for relaxing in the evening, or when the noise level is mainly limited to voices. Because they are softer, you can forget the are there.
I work with children as a teacher in a pre-K / reception class (4 and 5 year olds). I have a lot of difficulty with auditory overstimulation and the ordinary calmer did help a little bit but absolutely nothing compared to these ones. I am able to deal with the sound and not have any overstimulation / metldowns due to overstimulation any more. They really are life-changing. Recommend to anyone who has difficulties with overstimulation and has found that the ordinary calmer are not sufficient.
Over the years my sensitivity to sound has been increasing, so much so that being in a restaurant was painful, listening to music hurt, and hearing unnecessary noises from others like pen tapping or playing with fidget items made me irritable. These little inserts are amazing. My only wish is that they could be molded to your own specific anatomy, as these begin to hurt over time. Like my ears have tiny muscles that are being stressed and eventually my ears will pop them out. Some days this doesn’t happen, and it may be an atmospheric pressure thing. Ordering the mini’s next to see if that helps on days when my ears just don’t want something in them.
highly recommend this product...

TECHNOLOGYCalmer reduces resonance (distortion) by using a tiny waveguide to reflect sound into our ear which bypasses the effect of the Concha.
