MEET MY AUTISTIC BRAIN:

TOP RATED PODCASTER CHATS WITH FLARE

Tuesday May 7th, 2024

US-based neurodivergent podcaster Susan, aka The Autistic Woman™, contacted us after reading about our earplug alternative Calmer® which reduces the sounds many people find irritating and uncomfortable.

We sent her a pair to try and soon she was back in touch to tell us they were really living up to their name – she felt calmer wearing them.

Since then, she has interviewed Flare founders Davies and Naomi Roberts, who tell the story of how they came to develop both an interest and an expertise in creating products that change the way we hear. They also share how Flare’s neurodivergent customers began to tell them how Calmer was helping them and how this led to a new Flare community, a new direction for the company and even some personal reflections on their own neurodiversity.

Meet my autistic brain is a lifestyle/mental health podcast hosted by the Autistic Woman for late diagnosed, undiagnosed or self-diagnosed autistic adults covering a different theme each episode.

To hear Davies and Naomi’s story and learn more about how Calmer came to be and the science behind it, go to the Meet My Autistic Brain podcast episode Calmer: meet the creators at theautisticwoman.com or wherever you get your podcasts.

There’s also an episode focusing on Sound Sensitivity, proudly sponsored by Flare and in a forthcoming episode, listeners will have the chance to win a Flare Care Package of products and accessories to help soothe your ears.

Look out for more info on our socials pages.
