Ridiculously good when you want to hear something but also to block something else. My friend played music on Spofity, sports on TV and we tried to play boardgame at the same time -> It was terrible before I realized I had these bad boys at the BIGGER CAPSULE (! kinda a must have with these - I wouldn't carry them on ever without this hanging inside my everyday backpack).
It took several tests with all three ear pieces and then I ended up using two different sizes for a while. Now I'm back to the similar sizes since I noticed that the effect wasn't same at both ears. But what I'm saying is that you can easily mix them if your ear cannals are the type of "biggie smalls" :)
Bought for a teen with auditory processing difficulties. Unfortunately, even the smallest size of tips is too big for her ear canal and the plugs fall off easily. She didn't seem to feel any improvement while wearing them most probably because of the fitting issue.
On the other hand, I tried them myself while watching TV and I was simply blown away by how much more relaxing my whole experience was while wearing them. As soon as I took them off, I had the clear perception of the sound bouncing all around me. Then after a few minutes without the plugs my ear (or is it my brain?) seems to get used to the distorted sound again and the difference is less noticeable, until you insert the plugs again and you think you will never want to take them off.
So, overall, amazing product but not for small ear canals.
I hope you can accommodate this in the future. I think there are students who could benefit enormously during lessons and avoid the use of more expensive and cumbersome piece of equipment.
I got these for my autistic partner so hear better out in public but we just use them for music shows. What they do depends on the performance and acoustics of the place but generally things do sound better. We just forget to bring them. I believe they change crowd noise also.
