These really do work! I was surprised. I felt the relief almost immediately.
great for people who are easily startled , uncomfortable at first but i got used to them , try them for a while and then evaluate , and then dont forget to get 100 points when you leave a review , it was weird at first like i might not hear something vital , but what you dont hear is the stuff you really dont need to hear , 5 stars ! except that i hope they become softer and easier to wear , and pink would be great too
I suffer tinnitus, probably caused by working with bands and in nightclubs during the 1990s. When it's bad, it's impossible to focus on work, and at its worst, I can hardly move for nausea. Calmer take the tinnitus ringing right down, meaning I can get on with life. They're affordable, easy to use, well-made, and make life better.
these allow me to be in public longer than normal i love them
The earplugs came on time and are great, even if they don't block out much sound (it's still loud but is less sharp???).
I can’t believe how much calmer these make me. I have a long commute and I hadn’t realized just how much the constant mechanical noises had been wearing on me. What a relief it was to discover these! I’m so glad they come in the mini size too— the regular squishy-tipped earphones are always too big for me even at the smallest size so I love that these actually work for me.
I am recovering from a traumatic labyrinthine concussion, and I am currently experiencing "noise sensitivity" (hyperacusis), which makes me uncomfortable in several situations which, for people with normal earing, would feel fine. Example: pubs, restaurants, tube & train stations, roads or even playing a wind instrument at home.
"Full" earplugs surely attenuate sounds, but they muffle everything and especially the human voice range frequencies get really reduced - making it very difficult to have a conversation in loud places, unless you are good at reading lips.
And here comes Calmer: it really does reduce those pain inducing sound levels, yet I manage to be able to pick on people's voice and have a normal conversation. I now attached them to my keyring so I cannot forget them home, and I can confidently enter any noisy space without feeling discomfort or having to reach out to my ears to protect them.
A small device worn in the ear to reduce stress.
TECHNOLOGYCalmer reduces resonance (distortion) by using a tiny waveguide to reflect sound into our ear which bypasses the effect of the Concha.
